We’re passionate about the power of education to change lives. And as New Zealand’s biggest polytechnic we know a thing or two about learning. Our study programmes are career-focused, industry-recognised and full of hands-on experience.
What makes us different?
We’re all about the practical application of knowledge: academic learning goes hand in hand with real-life work experience. It's why we offer degree and postgraduate level study alongside vocational education and training.
Who studies at Unitec?
Over 23,000 students from different backgrounds, countries and age groups. Some are starting out in education for the first time, others are changing careers or returning to study. We offer 160 programmes at certificate through to doctorate level in a huge range of subjects - from accounting to zookeeping.
Where are we?
We have three campuses in Auckland, New Zealand. Mt Albert is the biggest – set in 55 hectares of beautiful parkland. Out west there’s the Waitakere campus and the Northern campus is on the North Shore.
